SkyPACK™
The SkyPack Receiver (SPR) is housed in a sturdy ruggedized laptop case, and is the next logical step in the evolution of receivers for the warfighter. The SPR is compatible with GBS, and incorporates an advanced DVB-S2 satellite receiver capable of receiving up to 80 Mbps of digital content for storage, concurrent with audio applications and/or streaming video(s) in real-time, when mission required.
The SPR also supports subsequent dissemination activities when network connected.
The receiver can be provisioned with embedded Advanced Encryption System (AES) support and is 
compatible with FIPS-140 encrypted broadcast data streams. Type-1 HAIPE encryption is supported externally. The engineering prototype of the SkyPack Terminal (SPT) supports both the Ka and Ku downlinks common to the Global Broadcast Service environments.
The SPT antenna requires only very simple hand tools to completely assemble and secure the antenna in minutes, a vital capability for it’s designed role.
The SPT is designed to complement the SPR and collectively weighs less than 25 pounds without external cryptographic equipment.
