SkyDSR-DT™ Dual Tuner Router
The SkyDSR-DT is Cerona’s latest offering in the DVB-S2 receiver products. The DT is a dual tuner receiver capable of receiving transmissions from two different transponders simultaneously, or can be used as a fully redundant receiver acting as a primary with on-line backup capabilities. The DT is available in a 1 RU rack mount chassis and provides media-rich broadband IP data at speeds up to 80 Mbps per tuner or 164Mbps in the aggregate when used on multiple transponders. The SkyDSR-DT is part off Cerona’s Sky Digital family, which is the most comprehensive end-to-end DVB
broadband IP solution available.
This version of the SkyDSR works with any DVB IP Encapsulator, including Cerona’s own Digital Gateway Router. The SkyDSR receives and decodes a multiplexed DVB broadcast transport stream comprised of MPE (Multi-Protocol Encapsulation) IP data and delivers it via a high-speed Ethernet connection to the desktop.
