10/2008: DG FastChannel selects Cerona’s XpressVu™ for DVB-S2 Broadcast
New York – SATCON - Cerona Networks Corporation has been selected by DG Fastchannel, Inc. (DGIT: NASDAQ) to provide its industry leading XpressVu DVB-S2 Satellite Receiver for high-speed IP transmissions in support of DG FastChannel’s SpotBox network, the standard in digital media services to the advertising, broadcast and publishing industries.
Cerona’s XpressVu met all of DG FastChannel’s objectives and as a dual tuner, it will allow DG FastChannel to receive simultaneous transmissions from two separate transponders each running up to 80 megabits per second. Cerona’s best of breed technology led to DG FastChannel’s upgrading its service offering.
