Cerona Networks was founded in 2002 by Mitch Robinson, a satellite industry pioneer.  The Company is a privately held Corporation that is an experienced provider of spectrally efficient satellite network solutions.  Its world class design, manufacturing and integration in one company, allows Cerona to bring its customers a full service offering of the most bandwidth efficient satellite communications systems available anywhere in the market.  The launch of our RangeRunner™ Communications-on-the-Move system represents a significant breakthrough in satellite technology.

The Company is the fusion of ViaCast Networks, another company founded by Mitch Robinson, and Aloha Networks which was acquired in 2005 along with other exclusive intellectual property and reorganized as Cerona Networks Corporation.  The company owns 13 unique patents associated with broadcast and two-way satellite communications, enabling it to provide its clients with ‘best of breed’ technologies.

Its founder and management team are former ViaCast, Raytheon, Hughes and Motorola executives who have vast experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry.  Cerona’s equity partner, Republic Financial, a Denver-based financial services company with over $1 billion in assets, provides a depth and breadth of capabilities perfectly suited for strategic growth in the high technology industry.
